FREE Business Mentoring Program

The Victorian Government is funding FREE Business Mentoring. 


The Program, administered by the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is designed to support business owners to address the challenges being encountered in their businesses.


The Program provides eligible Victorian businesses with eight hours of mentoring, coaching or consulting services for free.

The program provides eligible Victorian businesses with eight hours of mentoring, coaching or consulting services for free. 

The program can be used to support Business Owners to address one or more of the following Business Owner challenges:

Work-Life balance issues

Cash Flow problems or inconsistent financial results

Staffing issues

Business has no business strategy

Business has poor systems and processes 

Wanting to exit

Feeling alone, stressed or overwhelmed

Wanting to start a new business or add a new product or service

Business is having problems acquiring new customers

Cash Flow problems or is delivering inconsistent financial results

Staffing issues

Business has no business strategy

Business has poor systems and processes 

Wanting to exit

Wanting to start a new business or add a new product or service

Eligibility Criteria 

  1. Victorian based small business
  2. Small businesses with less than 20 full-time employees 
  3. 20 or more full-time employees, but have a turnover of less than $50 million, may also be considered
  4. Small businesses can be sole traders, partnerships, private companies or trusts
  5. They must hold an active Australian Business Number (ABN) 
  6. They cannot be a not-for-profit or body corporate
  7. They must intend to re-establish or continue to operate in Victoria
